The Real Housewives of New Jersey is a reality television program on the Bravo network which originally followed the lives of five women in and around the upscale Franklin Lakes, New Jersey community. It is the network’s fourth installation of The Real Housewives of… series, following The Real Housewives of Orange County, The Real Housewives of New York City and The Real Housewives of Atlanta. This series had the highest-rated episode ever out of the entire franchise at it’s second season reunion show.

“The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s” Danielle Staub is attempting to parlay her reality television fame into a branding juggernaut. Staub has a t-shirt line called “Danielle’s Mafia” and she told TooFab that she is working on a “cross-inspired” jewelry line that she hopes to launch it in time for the holiday season. Staub says that the crosses are “an insignia of just being close whether it’s a religious thing, or a relationship thing.” She also says she wants do make rings and necklaces. She tells TooFab that she doesn’t like necklace chains around her neck, although the picture at right seems to indicate otherwise. She plans to do leather or black rope necklaces and cuff bracelets but no earrings. She named Versani, a Manhattan-based jewelry house as her collaborator. Staub also has eventual plans for a fashion line.

Lori Michaels clears the air for OUR scene cameras, revealing information about her involvement with Staub’s sex tape scandal and possibility of a Lori Michaels cameo in upcoming episodes of the show that has the nation talking, Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

The rumor mill has been spinning since Danielle Staub’s appearance on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live!” where she debuted her single -- a duet recorded with ‘girl friend’ out-artist Lori Michaels, suspiciously named, “Real Close”. Since their appearance together in June the press has been abuzz asking “IS THIS RELATIONSHIP FOR REAL??” And to that we have to say, why not?! Michaels is a beautiful, talented and successful woman. As for Danielle and her sexuality, well, without getting it from the horses mouth we’ll only say that the number of middle aged women coming-out later in life has been increasing and the topic gaining attention in the media. People like Meredith Baxter are changing the game and drawing attention to the subject. Hell, Oprah even did a show about ‘late-blooming lesbians’ in the 1990′s.

In regards to Michaels relationship with Staub, the only thing shocking to us is that Danielle can actually sing! After suffering through multiple seasons of Housewives recording disasters Staub’s single is a refreshing change and hopefully a lesson to Kim Z and The Countess -- Please ladies, put the mic down and back away from the studio!

As previously announced, Danielle Staub is officially gone — but not forgotten from Real Housewives of New Jersey after two seriously drama-packed seasons.

“I’m way too good for this,” Staub, 48, she said. “They have used me about as much as I can be used.”

South Park typically pulled no punches Wednesday night when mocking reality TV shows Jersey Shore and the Real Housewives of New Jersey. Now, some of the targets of the jokes have responded to seeing themselves immortalized in animation.

Former Housewives cast member Danielle Staub managed to take it all in stride. “I was pleasantly surprised it wasn’t just me being made fun of for a change,” she laughed. Staub said she was “honored to be mocked” by South Park, adding “Poor Snooki though! I got off easy compared to her!”

Danielle Staub (born Beverly Ann Merrill; July 29, 1962) is an American television personality, author, and singer. She is best known as a cast member on the Bravo reality series Real Housewives of New Jersey. Staub’s autobiographical book, The Naked Truth, was released on May 25, 2010, and in it she claims that her arrest was a matter of “wrong place/wrong time”.

Staub received additional media attention during the first season of Real Housewives of New Jersey when participants in the reality show confronted Staub with Charles Kipps’s book Cop Without a Badge, which recounts events surrounding an undercover FBI informer Kevin Maher, one of Staub’s former husbands, including Staub’s arrest. Staub admitted that she was arrested in June of 1986 on charges of drug possession and extortion. Known at the time as Beverly Ann Merrill, Staub cooperated with authorities and claims to have received five years probation. She also denies many of the allegations made by Maher.

Danielle, who is a certifiable loon, comes off as totally insane in this video made with a mystery man. Don’t get this confused with the one made by her ex-boyfriend, a friend of fellow Real Housewife (and bankruptcy filer) Teresa Giudice who made an appearance on the first season of the show. That one was blocked last year by a judge.

I am! I don’t care about having the drama in the show on one hand it will be kinda boring without her but I would like it to be just a family show with Dina , Caroline , Teresa and Jacquline but im sure they will have new cast members for season 3.

And Yeah, she is a bit of a looney tunes, but those other women are worse. AND, she was spot on about Teresa. She and her husband have filed BK and are auctioning off their belongings this Aug. 22. Don’t you think the “producers” have a lot to do with egging them on for “good” tv?
